2008: Interdisciplinary symposium on “Aesthetics and Oncology” in cooperation with the Cancer Clinic SanaFontis in Freiburg, the Tumor Center Ludwig Heilmeyer – Comprehensive Cancer Center in Freiburg and the Clinic for Tumor Biology in Freiburg.
2010: Research project “Dialogic Inquiry: Word and Image”. An interdisciplinary project in cooperation with Appalachian State University in North Carolina (USA).
2010: Study on “Possibilities for Arts Therapy in Helping MS Patients cope with their Illness” in cooperation with the SanaKlinik in Bad Wildbad.
2010 (in preparation): “Health and Hospitality – Trends in Health and Tourism”. An interdisciplinary closed meeting with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) dealing with modern life sciences.

2010 (in preparation): Development of new learning services with research focuses addressing art and learning. Research should be conducted on synergies with other elements of science, particularly in terms of how art can contribute to developing new competences and how this can be scientifically justified.
2011 (in preparation): Research project on thematic complex of leadership, management and aesthetics.
