Throughout all its study programs, the International University of Calw offers expertise covering a broad range of topics, which makes it possible to communicate important social, personal and methodological competences.
Students are actively engaged in designing a concept for their own professional profiles, which will enable them to creatively and responsibly craft social processes.
For many years, the International University of Calw’s active and regular cooperation with private enterprise, clinics, public institutions and other relevant organizations has enabled students to link theoretical knowledge with practical experience and to test their own abilities and what they have learned in their future professional fields.
The quality of the study program is ensured by a selection of experienced lecturers with scholarly and practical experience in their areas of specialization, and who join the university from their respective fields – economics, culture, private practice and clinics. The lecturers themselves are also continually increasing their abilities through additional training and are making important contributions to scholarship and research in their respective fields.
The university organizes symposia, interdisciplinary congresses and special events; invites guest instructors from different disciplines; and gives guest lectures at other universities in the context of symposia and special events.
